Mehdi Hafezi Manshadi
I am in the last year of my PhD, defending my thesis on October 4th, 2013. Broadly speaking, my area of research is Computational Linguistics and Machine Learning. More specifically, I am interested in applying machine learning and statistical methods to the NLP applications requiring deep language understanding. I am currently working on statistical semantic pasring and staistical scope dismabguation. In my free time, I work on syntax and prosody of Persian. Semantic representation and scope underspecification have been my fields of research in the past.
My advisor is Prof. James F. Allen
