Arent't you eastern europeans supposed to stay mute for long periods of time? --Nicolas Vozza

Introduction

Hi, my name is Piotr Faliszewski and I am a fourth year graduate student at the University of Rochester. My advisor is prof. Lane Hemaspaandra. My scientific interests are widely understood complexity theory, computational social choice, and algorithmics. Privately I love music, volleyball and books by Umberto Eco and Terry Pratchet (okay -- not only by those two, but these are the favorites :) ). Recently I joined the Rochester Capoeira Mandinga group.

I come from Krakow, Poland where I got masters degree from the AGH University of Science and Technology (2004).
